Basketball Recap: Midway Triumphs

Midway got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 38-31 victory over the West Bladen Knights on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kali Allen, who posted nine points.

Midway now has a winning record of 7-6. As for West Bladen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

Midway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-12 loss against St. Pauls on the 28th. West Bladen has also already played their next game, a 63-14 defeat against Fairmont on the 27th.
