While Summit's victory against Steamboat Springs wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Sailors 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Sam Eldredge made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Summit's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Steamboat Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
