Softball Game Preview: Fontana Steelers vs. Rim of the World Fighting Scots

The Fontana Steelers will square off against the Rim of the World Fighting Scots at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fontana lost 16-9 to Arroyo Valley on Wednesday. The Steelers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vivianna Powell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Savannah Lira, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Rim of the World was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Notre Dame, falling 13-6.

Fontana's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Rim of the World, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1.
