Greenwood Christian extended the longest winning streak in SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) this week by beating Pee Dee Academy, 53-16. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Hawks.
Carolina Academy and St. John's Christian Academy played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Carolina Academy eventually emerging with a 50-48 victory.
Joseph Hubbard was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 169 yards as Greenwood Christian bested the Eagles. Teammate Bryson Boggs added to the ground attack by rushing for 84 yards.
King Academy's Alex Berry and Caleb Fulmer have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Berry has thrown for 1410 yards this season, while Fulmer, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 25 catches for 515 yards. Gary Gillion's team's Hubbard leads the league in rushing yards with 1521.
The Hawks took down Pee Dee Academy 53-16 last week, the largest margin of any game. Hubbard in the win.
