Softball Recap: Lower Cape May Comes Up Short

Lower Cape May couldn't beat Wildwood on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Tigers lost 25-6 to the Warriors. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lower Cape May's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Wildwood, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12.

Lower Cape May does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wildwood, they will host Woodstown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
