Soccer Game Preview: Rogers vs. Centennial

The Rogers Royals will head out on the road to challenge the Centennial Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Rogers and four for Centennial.

Rogers came up short against Coon Rapids on Thursday, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Rogers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Coon Rapids are ranked 17th).

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Centennial's offense. They lost 3-0 to Duluth East.

Centennial has now lost four of their last five games at home. That's done some real damage to their 2-6-3 record this season. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1.
