Basketball Recap: Richfield Extends Winning Streak to Four

Richfield won the last time they faced Rimrock and Malia Kent did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers snuck past the Raiders with a 40-35 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Kent, who posted 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Kent is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Richfield, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points on average over those games. As for Rimrock, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Richfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Leadore at 5:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Rimrock, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glenns Ferry at 7:30 p.m. on December 5.
