Basketball Game Preview: Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks vs. Crazy Horse Chiefs

Having just played yesterday, the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks will jump right back in to play the Crazy Horse Chiefs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Tiospaye Topa came up short against Wakpala on Wednesday, falling 63-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Thunderhawks have suffered against the Sioux since February 17, 2022.

Meanwhile, Crazy Horse ended up a good deal behind Dupree on Wednesday and lost 60-46. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tiospaye Topa's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Crazy Horse, they now also have a losing record at 1-2.

Tiospaye Topa was taken down by Crazy Horse 97-37 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Tiospaye Topa avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
