Basketball Recap: Coyle Takes a Loss

Coyle was the 61-42 winner over Crescent when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Coyle Bluejackets took a blow against the Crescent Tigers on Thursday, falling 89-30. The match marked the Bluejackets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Coyle and nudges their season record down to 5-12. As for Crescent, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coyle will challenge Carney at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crescent has already played their next contest, a 64-57 defeat against Southwest Covenant on the 24th.
