Basketball Recap: Bishop McGuinness Takes a Loss

Bishop McGuinness and Douglass squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Bishop McGuinness had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Douglass Trojans and fell 68-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Fighting Irish have suffered since December 14, 2024.

Bishop McGuinness lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cooper Bradley, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Mccormick, who posted nine points.
