Football Recap: Interboro Falls Despite Big Games from Mason Marshall-Speights and Momodu Rogers

Interboro made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Plymouth Whitemarsh, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Colonials by a score of 26-23 on Friday. The Buccaneers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.

Interboro's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Momodu Rogers, who rushed for 231 yards and two scores while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, and Mason Marshall-speights, who rushed for 123 yards and one TD. Rogers was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.

Michael Giangiulio was a one-man wrecking crew For Plymouth Whitemarsh. as he rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Giangiulio also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles (1.5 for loss) and defending one pass. Another player making a difference was Cole Reilly, who rushed for 49 yards and one score.
