Basketball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Bethel Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 74-52 to the New Manna Christian Wind. The Crusaders lost against the Wind in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 74-26 score last time.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Manna Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Wagner, who posted ten points along with eight assists and three steals. Brody Elliott was another key player, going 7 for 12 en route to 17 points and three steals.

Bethel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for New Manna Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Bethel Christian Academy will challenge Independent Athletic Ministries at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Manna Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
