Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pecos). They were the clear victors by a 77-51 margin over the Bernalillo Spartans on Friday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

Pecos pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Bernalillo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Pecos and Bernalillo will both be playing Aztec the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Tigers on Saturday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 9:30 a.m.
