Starr's Mill was the 57-51 winner over Harris County when they last played one another on January 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Starr's Mill Panthers received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 58-43 to the Harris County Tigers. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Glover, who posted 13 points. Aftyn Heiden was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Ja'Niya Broome continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Harris County, dropping a double-double on 30 points and ten boards. Broome has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madalynn Cauley, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points and three steals.

Starr's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Harris County, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

Starr's Mill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 40-34 win against Griffin on the 29th. As for Harris County, they will face off against Mundy's Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harris County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.
