After flying high against Orion last Thursday, Monmouth-Roseville came back down to earth. The Monmouth-Roseville Titans took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wethersfield Flying Geese on Tuesday. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Monmouth-Roseville's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9. As for Wethersfield, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monmouth-Roseville will take on Sherrard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sherrard is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Monmouth-Roseville a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Wethersfield, they will square off against Galva at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wethersfield is facing Galva at the right time seeing as Galva is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
