Recap: Eagle's View Warriors vs. Bishop Snyder Cardinals
It was a good run, but the Eagle's View Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Snyder. Eagle's View has not had much luck with Bishop Snyder recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Eagle's View lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jayden Williams. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with three steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Berry, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Eagle's View's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5. As for Bishop Snyder, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle's View's road trip will continue as they head out to face Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Trinity Christian Academy will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. As for Bishop Snyder, they will head out on the road to square off against Creekside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Creekside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday.
