It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Eastlake had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Glendora Tartans.

Eastlake got a great performance from Nick Romero as he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Romero has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hamza Hatahet was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
