Soccer Recap: Grainger's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grainger). They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Union County Patriots on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Meg Tanner as she scored four goals for her team.

Grainger moved to 2-7-1 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Union County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grainger will challenge Morristown-Hamblen East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union County, they will face off against Scott at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union County are facing Scott at the right time seeing as Scott are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
