Riverton hasn't had much luck against Cody recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wolverines will challenge the Broncs. Riverton will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Riverton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Green River with points to spare, taking the game 31-13.

Meanwhile, Cody faced Douglas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Broncs blew past the Bearcats, posting a 40-13 win. The victory continues a trend for the Broncs in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won six in a row.

Cody found their leader in sophomore Griffin McCarten, who rushed for 90 yards and one score on only 11 carries, and also threw for 41 yards and one touchdown.

Cody's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Riverton, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-1.

Things could have been worse for Riverton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-38 loss to Cody in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
