Softball Recap: Coral Gables Takes a Loss

Coral Gables lost against Hialeah back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Coral Gables Cavaliers lost 18-3 to the Hialeah Thoroughbreds. That's two games in a row now that the Cavaliers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Celina Richardson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Coral Gables is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Hialeah, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Coral Gables will take on Miami Beach at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Miami Beach will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Coral Gables surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hialeah, they will square off against Goleman at 3:00 p.m. on March 18th.
