Basketball Game Preview: East Knox Bulldogs vs. Centerburg Trojans

East Knox is 1-9 against Centerburg since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The East Knox Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Centerburg Trojans at 2:00 p.m.

East Knox is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Northmor on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. East Knox might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Northmor an easy 62-42 win. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Centerburg in a 56-42 victory over Mt. Gilead on Wednesday. That 14 point margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.

East Knox's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Centerburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

East Knox was dealt a bruising 69-39 defeat at the hands of Centerburg in their previous meeting back in January. Can East Knox avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
