It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop Verot had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Oasis Sharks with a sharp 16-1 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Payton Breadmore looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, McKenna Robbins was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jaelyn Riley, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Bishop Verot was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oasis only posted a batting average of .077.

Bishop Verot's record now sits at 16-7. As for Oasis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.
