Volleyball Game Preview: Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers vs. Stagg Chargers

The Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers will face off against the Stagg Chargers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Bradley-Bourbonnais is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Bradley-Bourbonnais came up short against Andrew and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stagg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln-Way West on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Stagg had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 27-25.

Stagg's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-7. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
