Volleyball Recap: Classical Wins Going Away Against Johnston + How To Watch

Classical won the last time they faced Johnston and things went their way on Friday too. The Purple were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Purple.

One reason for the win was Classical's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-10.

Angelina Pham was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and one assist.

Classical was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Classical now has a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Classical will look to defend their home court on Monday against Juanita Sanchez Complex at 6:30 p.m. As for Johnston, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Scituate at 6:15 p.m. on October 9.
