After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chester, Sioux Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Garretson Blue Dragons as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cossacks not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Sioux Valley was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Garretson still got an impressive performance from Alyssa Garcia, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Sioux Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Garretson, they dropped their record down to 3-21 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sioux Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Elkton/Lake Benton on the 28th. As for Garretson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Madison on the 28th.
