Basketball Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

If Baldwin was riding high fresh off their 59-32 takedown of Mesick last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Baldwin Panthers took a 67-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Muskegon Heights Tigers on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Muskegon Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Baldwin and Muskegon Heights: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Baldwin will try to hand Holton their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Muskegon Heights will look to extend Saugatuck's nine-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
