Volleyball Game Preview: West Stanly Colts vs. North Surry Greyhounds + How To Watch

The West Stanly Colts will square off against the North Surry Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Stanly comes in on ten and North Surry on eight.

West Stanly is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bandys as they made off with a 3-0 win.

While West Stanly won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 27-25.

Meanwhile, North Surry sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Forbush on Tuesday.

North Surry took Forbush into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 25-15, 24-26, 15-6.

North Surry's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for West Stanly, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.

West Stanly skirted past North Surry 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
