Atlantis made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sturgis West, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Atlantis was the clear victor by  a  14-6 margin over Sturgis West on Wednesday. This was payback for Atlantis, who suffered  an  11-3  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Atlantis got a  massive  performance out of  Anthony Furtado, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jasiah Handler, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Atlantis has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
 Coming up, Atlantis will head out to  square off against Southeastern RVT  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sturgis West, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Nantucket  at 4:00  p.m. The Whalers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.75  runs per game on average), something the Navigators will no doubt try to take advantage of.
