Baseball Recap: Manchester Essex Comes Up Short

Manchester Essex lost against Rockport back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manchester Essex's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rockport, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manchester Essex will take on rival Georgetown at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockport is set to challenge their familiar foe Amesbury at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
