Basketball Recap: Colorado Wolves vs. Miles Bulldogs
Colorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-28 bruising from the Miles Bulldogs. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
Miles' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Hohensee, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 11 points. Those 11 points gave Hohensee a new career-high. Kendyl Riddle was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.
Colorado's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Miles, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.
Colorado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-25 victory against Winters on the 14th. As for Miles, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-17 win against Coleman on the 14th.
