Basketball Recap: Parkway North Comes Up Short

Parkway North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hazelwood East Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Spartans are ranked 68th).

Parkway North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Hazelwood East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Parkway North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-45 victory against Seckman on the 6th. Hazelwood East has also already played their next game (against Jennings), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
