Softball Recap: Solon Takes a Loss

Solon's last matchup with Wadsworth could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Monday. The Comets lost 12-3 to the Grizzlies. The Comets just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Ali Palsa was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Claire Bush was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Wadsworth, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Coming up, Solon will welcome Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wadsworth, they will challenge Cloverleaf at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
