Volleyball Recap: Sam Veith and Tommy Marlock Secure Win for Kettle Moraine + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Kettle Moraine, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Oak Creek Knights by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Kettle Moraine had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-22.

Leading Kettle Moraine to victory were Tommy Marlock and Sam Veith. Marlock had 26 assists and six digs, while Veith had 11 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Marlock has posted since back in September.

Kettle Moraine pushed their record up to 14-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Oak Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kettle Moraine will host Appleton North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Creek, after both having extra time off, they and Beloit Memorial will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
