Soccer Game Preview: La Vernia vs. John F. Kennedy

La Vernia is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Young Women's Leadership Academy onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. The Bears' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Meanwhile, John F. Kennedy fell victim to Gonzales and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Apaches.

La Vernia pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for John F. Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1.
