Baseball Recap: Grandview Heights Comes Up Short

Grandview Heights lost against Buckeye Valley last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bobcats lost 13-3 to the Barons. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Zach Loy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Grandview Heights' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Buckeye Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Looking ahead, Grandview Heights will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Heights at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Buckeye Valley, they will welcome Worthington Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
