Mount Desert Island can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Hermon Hawks by a score of 50-41. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-47 back in December of 2024.

Mount Desert Island's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Hermon, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
