Baseball Recap: Southaven Comes Up Short

If Southaven was feeling good fresh off their 15-1 takedown of Kirby on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers lost 17-5 to the Horn Lake Eagles on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 on Tuesday.

Southaven has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Horn Lake, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-19.

As of now, neither Southaven nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
