Basketball Recap: Apple Valley Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hesperia, Apple Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Burroughs Burros by a score of 73-60. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Sun Devils considering their 23-point performance the contest before.

Apple Valley's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-11. As for Burroughs, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apple Valley will face off against Sultana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apple Valley is facing Sultana at the right time seeing as Sultana is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Burroughs has already played their next game (against Serrano), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
