Softball Recap: Westside Find Success

Westside proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mingo Central Miners 5-4.

Westside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mingo Central, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Coincidentally, Westside and Mingo Central will both be playing Tug Valley the next time they take the field. The Miners will head out to face the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Renegades will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
