Preview: Cedar Park Timberwolves vs. Lehman Lobos
Cedar Park is 3-0 against Lehman since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cedar Park Timberwolves will look to defend their home court against the Lehman Lobos at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Cedar Park is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Texas (they are ranked 252nd, while Lehman is ranked 957th).
Cedar Park had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 46-42 victory over Liberty Hill on Friday.
Reid Vines continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Drew O'connor was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Lehman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by Hays at home and fell 68-40.
Cedar Park's win bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Lehman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-25 record this season.
Cedar Park was able to grind out a solid win over Lehman in their previous meeting back in January, winning 63-54. Will Cedar Park repeat their success, or does Lehman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
