Basketball Game Preview: Bruce Randolph Grizzlies vs. DSST: College View Wolves

The Bruce Randolph Grizzlies will face off against the DSST: College View Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bruce Randolph has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while DSST: College View will come in with five straight victories.

Bruce Randolph is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 7th on Tuesday. They came up short against Denver West, falling 61-35. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Cowboys are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, DSST: College View was able to grind out a solid win over DSST: Montview on Tuesday, taking the game 68-57.

Bruce Randolph better focus on containing Isaias Tomita and Joshua Sosa as the pair were huge in DSST: College View's win. Tomita dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 11 assists, and 12 steals, while Sosa went 8 of 9 en route to 23 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Tomita's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Josue Tomita was another key player, putting up nine points along with five boards and three steals.

DSST: College View's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Bruce Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
