Basketball Recap: Braham Skates Past Hinckley-Finlayson with Ease

Braham had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars, posting a 72-15 victory. Given the Bombers' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 369th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Braham pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points over those games. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-23.

Braham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-24 victory against Mora on the 17th. Hinckley-Finlayson has also already played their next game (against Moose Lake/Willow River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
