Basketball Recap: James Lick Takes a Loss

James Lick was the 46-39 winner over Overfelt when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The James Lick Comets received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 60-46 to the Overfelt Royals. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Lick's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-12. As for Overfelt, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

James Lick will head out to challenge Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Overfelt has already played their next game (against Gunderson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
