Softball Recap: Central Bucks West Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Central Bucks West's offense. They came up short against the Council Rock South Golden Hawks on Thursday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Bucks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Central Bucks West saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katherine James, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Central Bucks West's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Council Rock South, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Bucks West will face off against Hatboro-Horsham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Hatters have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Council Rock South, they will take on Easton Area at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
