It's playoff time, and South Walton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the West Nassau Warriors 11-3 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won 20 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Coleman Borthwick, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Perkins, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.

South Walton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in seven consecutive games.

South Walton's win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for West Nassau, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11.

South Walton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
