After losing to Hayworth Christian the last time they met, Davidson Home Educators decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Davidson Home Educators sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Hayworth Christian on Monday.
Davidson Home Educators wouldn't go down easily and took Hayworth Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 22-25, 19-17.
The victory got Davidson Home Educators back to even at 5-5. As for Hayworth Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davidson Home Educators will host Sheets Memorial Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayworth Christian, they will welcome Carolina Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
