Basketball Recap: Denver North Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Denver North had won three straight home games and Sammy Barajas did his part to make it four on Friday. The Denver North Vikings really took it to the Regis Groff Fusion for the full four quarters, racking up an 81-36 victory thanks in part to Barajas, who went 9 for 16 en route to 20 points and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Denver North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Regis Groff, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Denver North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-31 win against Montbello on the 22nd. As for Regis Groff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-52 defeat against Thomas Jefferson on the 22nd.
