Baseball Recap: Kerens Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kerens can now relate to. They fell just short of the Beckville Bearcats by a score of 6-5 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-1 defeat on Thursday.

Kooper Hill was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Kerens and nudges their season record down to 20-5. As for Beckville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Kerens nor Beckville have any future games scheduled.
