Recap: Loris Lions vs. Manning Monarchs

The Loris Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 86-31 victory over Manning. Loris has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 25 points or more this season.

Leading Loris to victory were Mariasia Moody and Janiya Richburg. Moody dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten assists, and 11 steals, while Richburg dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 13 rebounds, and ten steals. Richburg is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Ke'Asia Smith was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Loris is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Manning, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loris will take on Aynor at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Loris focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Monday. As for Manning, they will head out on the road to face off against Waccamaw at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Waccamaw is coming into the game with five straight defeats at home, meaning Manning will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
