Recap: Fort Ann Cardinals vs. Hartford Central Tanagers
The Fort Ann Cardinals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 64-46 to Hartford Central. Fort Ann has not had much luck with the Tanagers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Fort Ann lost, one person who can't be blamed is Javier Hernandez. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Kadynce Cutter, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Fort Ann dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Hartford Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Ann will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. As for Hartford Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Horde at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
